G.L. Huyett is dedicated to being a World Class Manufacturer and Master Distributor of high quality non-threaded fasteners. To that end, G.L. Huyett suppliers play a key role in supporting the fundamentals of World Class Manufacturing. The following are seven tenets of our World Class effort.

1. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERIORITY: To achieve and maintain a superior customer service level, G.L. Huyett must have dependable, dedicated suppliers who provide quality goods and services on time, in the right quantities, and with the correct documentation.

2. TOTAL EMPLOYEE INVOLVEMENT: G.L. Huyett and its suppliers must encourage and utilize the skills and ideas of all their employees as a vehicle to implement improvements that are mutually beneficial.

3. EDUCATION AND TRAINING: A commitment to an ongoing process of training and education is the foundation of World Class Manufacturing. This includes not only looking internally, but also across G.L. Huyett supplier lines as beneficial training opportunities are identified.

4. QUALITY AT THE SOURCE: The World Class Supplier not only delivers quality products and services to G.L. Huyett, but is aware of total quality costs and constantly strives to improve those costs through preventive measures.

5. PERFORMANCE MADE VISIBLE: G.L. Huyett and its supplier-partners must share performance information in areas of mutual concern for purposes of planning, improvement, and enhanced performance for both.

6. HOUSEKEEPING EXCELLENCE: Products and services delivered to G.L. Huyett must be delivered and/or packaged in such a way as to promote excellent housekeeping.

7. CONTINUOUS RAPID IMPROVEMENT: This concept does not allow G.L. Huyett or its suppliers to be satisfied with their successes, but instead encourages the idea that quality improvement is an ongoing process, not a program.
