Project Drive


A Comprehensive Community Improvement Initiative

Initiated in 2007 by G.L. Huyett, grants are awarded in increments of $500 or greater, up to $35,000* for one project, to individuals, institutions or organizations within a 50-mile radius of Minneapolis, KS, to help fund projects that improve our communities. A maximum of $35,000 will be awarded in any one year. G.L. Huyett reserves the right to award less than $35,000 in a single year.

Applications will be accepted from August 1 to October 1, reviewed by the Project Drive Selection Committee, and awarded prior to Thanksgiving in November.

Project Criteria
  • Project must be nonprofit.
  • Project must be located within a 50-mile radius of Minneapolis, KS.
  • Post project documentation including: project plan, receipts, etc. must be provided for G.L. Huyett grant fund distribution.
  • Applications must be postmarked or e-mailed on or before October 1.
