What is Lifting IQ?
The Lifting Instant Quote tool is your way to configure standard options for Aztec Lifting Hardware parts to quote or order online... instantly.

How long does it take before my custom Aztec Lifting Hardware parts ship?
Our standard lead time for parts ordered using Lifting IQ is five business days.

Do I need to complete an engineering print to order a custom part?
No. Lifting IQ creates the engineering print for you and sends it along with your order.

Do I need to sign the engineering print?
No. Checking the box to accept the G.L. Huyett Custom Part Terms & Conditions acts as your digital signature. There is no need to print, sign, scan, and return the document to G.L. Huyett. Lifting IQ takes care of it for you.

Can I return custom parts that I order?
No. New Aztec Lifting Hardware parts configured through the Lifting IQ tool are considered customer specials, and they cannot be returned. See the Terms and Conditions page.

Can I save a copy of the engineering print?
Absolutely. Click the preview button on the tool. It will open the engineering print in another tab. You can print or save a copy.

Why does the engineering print say "PROOF" in the background?
Engineering prints will say "PROOF" until they are passed along with the order. Engineering prints with the "PROOF" watermark are for your records only.

The price says "Contact For Quote." What went wrong?
Most of our custom lifting hardware is based on standard blanks that undergo secondary processes to make the part you configured. If we do not have the blank in stock or the options chosen are too specialized, then you will need to follow up with a member of our inside sales team.

The price says "Review Item." What went wrong?
Some options available for selection in the Lifting IQ tool are not compatible with each other. For example, "Self Colored" is the only finish type that is compatible with material "Stainless Steel." If you review the message by the item description, there will be an explanation of how to fix the issue.

Does the 5% web discount apply to custom lifting hardware?
No. The 5% web discount does not apply to custom parts. However, if you configure an existing, standard lifting hardware item that is already on huyett.com, the 5% discount would still apply, since you could order that item normally on huyett.com.

Why am I unable to change the quantity of my custom part in my cart?
The line quantity of new custom parts cannot be changed in the cart. If you would like to change the quantity, you must first remove the item from your cart, configure the item in the Quote Tool with the new quantity and add to cart.

What finishes are available on lifting hardware?
Lifting hardware can be plated in hot dipped galvanizing, zinc plating (clear, yellow, black, or zinc flake), or black oxidizing.

What machining capabilities are available?
We have the capabilities to cut, mill, lathe, drill, or thread the product to your specifications. Custom chain lengths or turnbuckles and clevis assemblies are also available.
