Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift

Standard Shift Hours: 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM (10 hrs + 30 min lunch) Monday - Thursday

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate. The ideal candidate will have a high level of energy and sense of urgency to accomplish the Company goals and implement significant change within the organization. This position entails accurately sorting material, receiving, picking, shipping and organizing inventory while maintaining product quality.
 

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure we meet customer needs and maintain a high level of service.
  • Transport product using cart, forklift or hydraulic pallet-jack to bay locations.
  • Operate scanning equipment to locate, bin, and cycle product.
  • Be familiar with workload priorities to ensure timelines are met.
  • Handle product in a safe and secure manner.
  • Prioritize production sequence based on customer demand and lead time.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience with following production schedules (or scheduling rules) for operations.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow up with supervisors on completion of tasks.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and/or environment.
  • Ability to work in a team setting while taking responsibility for personal productivity.
  • Preferred previous experience working in a high performance team setting.
  • Ability to Work Power Equipment. (Forklift, etc.)
  • Experience with LEAN practices / methodologies are a PLUS.
  • Current and active CDL a PLUS but not required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate verbally with others.
  • Ability to utilize basic office equipment.
  • Ability to safely maneuver a push cart.
  • Ability to climb ladders.
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work without close supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to lift 20-30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to use basic math.

Work Environment:
This is a manufacturing plant environment. Exposure to high temperatures, moving machinery, moving equipment, heights, and confined spaces. This opening is a 1st shift position.  
 

Compensation:

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $12.00 to $15.50/hour + $1.00/hour shift premium

Profit sharing paid tri-annually. Additional details to be provided to qualified candidates.
