These development opportunities include Development Plans, cross-training opportunities, on-site and off-site training opportunities, peer advisory committee, and other programs that stimulate employees to be the best they can be through Company-led and self-directed training programs.

In 2014, the Company introduced two new training programs. The “Stairway to Excellence” program is a companywide quality certification incentive and educational subsidy that encourages participants to achieve ASQ certification – formal recognition by ASQ that an individual has demonstrated a proficiency within, and a comprehension of a specific body of knowledge.

The American Society for Quality™ (ASQ) is the leading professional advocacy group making quality a global priority, an organizational imperative, and a personal ethic. Qualified and approved candidates engage in self-directed training and study to achieve certification with the support of the Human Resources department and an online network of professionals seeking to learn, improve, share, and develop. ASQ certification is a formal recognition by ASQ that an individual has demonstrated a proficiency within, and comprehension of, a specific body of knowledge.
