Plain Pattern Nut Eye Bolts
Nut Eye Bolts feature a threaded shank with a ring/eye at one end and are available in both plain pattern and shoulder pattern styles with either a self-colored finish, or corrosion resistant polished stainless steel and galvanized finishes are also available. They are used in lifting, rigging, and suspension applications. Plain pattern Nut Eye Bolts are intended only for zero degree vertical lifts, while shoulder pattern Nut Eye Bolts may be used in vertical or angular lifts, though it is important to check specifications as rated capacities are reduced significantly for angular lifts. Shoulder pattern Nut Eye Bolts should be securely tightened against the load with the eye aligned with the direction of the load (in the plane of the eye). This allows the shoulder to bear against the seat to reduce the possibility of the bolt bending or breaking.
