Sherex Rivet Nuts
Blind Rivet Nuts provide load-bearing threads in thin sheet materials that are too thin for a tapped thread. They are called "blind" because they can be installed from one side of the work piece. Once the rivet nut is installed, additional components can be attached using threaded fasteners.

INSTALLATION
  • Attach the installation mandrel on the tool
  • Place fastener in the hole and install
  • Remove the installation mandrel
  • Align mating component and attach with conventional hardware

  • Hand Tools - Powered by hand. Good for small production and prototyping.
  • Pneumatic Tools (Spin-Spin) - Powered by air pressure. Styles: pistol grip;right angle; in-line styles
  • Hydro-pneumatic tools (Spin-Pull) - Powered by air pressure and hydraulic fluid. Best for heavy-duty rivet nuts where higher installation force is required.
    • Pull to Pressure: Pulls to a set pressure. Ideal for parts with variable material thickness.
    • Pull to Stroke: Pulls to a set distance. Ideal for uniform material thickness or when installation pressure may deform the material.
