Leakproof Zerk Grease Fittings

Leak-proof fittings are zerk fittings designed to prevent lubricant leakage using either a plastic or rubber ball check. High pressure variations use a steel ball check that is coupled with a brass insert to create a leak-proof seal. Plastic and rubber ball checks conform to the shape of the fitting opening and are suitable for pressures up to 3,000 psi. Leak-proof grease fittings using a steel ball check and brass insert are suitable for pressures up to 10,000 psi. Intended for light oils and hydraulic fluids, leak-proof grease zerks are often used in the textile and food processing industries where preventing lubricant leakage is critical. As with all grease nipples, input passages should always be checked for contamination and blockages.
