DIN Standard

DIN lifting eye bolts are a type of machinery lifting eye bolt, or machinery eye bolt, and have metric threads that conform to the DIN 580 standard. Each DIN lifting eye has a shoulder under the eye that provides greater stability for angular lifts. They are primarily used for permanent mounting to industrial machinery or equipment for lifting. Lifting eye bolts can also be used for other rigging, and suspension applications, or they may be used as anchor points for other rigging hardware. A machinery eye bolt has a threaded shank that is intended for use with tapped holes that have been engineered as a lifting point. Carbon steel or 304 stainless steel lifting eye bolts are available.

  • Shoulder design reduces stress on the shank during angular lifts
  • Cast or forged eye is a strong anchor for clevis ends or yoke ends
  • Optional zinc plated or hot dipped galvanized coating for corrosion resistance
  • Working load limit (WLL) decreases significantly during angular loads
