Ear hose clamps are a style of hose clamp composed of a band with one or more integrated “ears.” The ears are closed using a pincer tool to create a tight, leak proof connection at the hose fitting. Ear hose clamps are often used in demanding applications where thin walled hoses, firm plastics, and soft and hard rubbers are present. Ear hose clamps are designed for permanent installation and are not reusable as they must be removed by destructive means.- Install easily in tight spots and compensate for component tolerances
