Lifting eye nuts are female-threaded and meant to be matched with a male threaded shank, similar to a standard threaded nut. However, lifting eye nuts have an additional closed eye-loop that makes them an ideal attachment similar to eye bolts.Lifting eye nuts are offered in two primary categories:
- Standard eye nuts - recommended for vertical or in-line loads. Available in carbon and 304 stainless steel.
- Heavy-duty eye nuts - an added shoulder for axial stability. Available in 316 stainless steel.
