Round key stock, sometimes called round linear shaft, round bar, or round stock, is a versatile material. It is often used as shafting, straight pins, rails, or for locating in a wide range of applications and industries. Round key stock is also used as a rotating device and can be easily welded, machined, or cut to smaller lengths for use as  machine keys.
