Supporting snap-in fasteners cover a range of fasteners that are often used to provide support for electrical circuit boards. For applications that require multiple circuit boards, snap-in standoffs keep them separated by snapping into the lower board and providing support for the board above it.
- Snap-in standoffs are available in nylon, which is a preferred material in electrical applications because it melts (instead of burns) and is resistant to electricity
- Like all of Huyett’s push-on/snap-in fasteners, snap-in standoffs are single-piece components that push into place by hand without the aid of tools or other fasteners
