Rivets

Rivets

Rivets, including solid rivets (flat head rivets, truss head rivets, and button head rivets) and pop rivets, are a cylindrical shaped, non-threaded fastener used for permanent fastening in a variety of applications including aviation, automotive, household appliance, and more. When installed, a rivet’s tang is compressed and flared out to hold mating parts securely together. Other rivet variations include nylon ratchet rivets and snap rivets which can often be found in light duty furniture and telecommunication equipment applications.
