Bolt Retainers
Bolt retainers are one-piece, push-on fasteners that secure a bolt to a panel without the use of a nut. Depending on the type of bolt retainer, it can clip onto the side of a panel and connect to the bolt from both sides of the panel, or the retainer can clasp to the threads from the underside of the panel. Bolt retainers help eliminate vibration and offer a quick, convenient alternative to nuts without the risk of rusted threads.
- U-shaped bolt retainers clip to the side of a mating panel and clasp the bolt to the panel from both sides
- U-shaped bolts can temporarily connect a bolt and mating panel before securing it with a nut, which frees up both hands during the application assembly
