Single Thread Nuts

Single-Thread Nuts

Single-thread nuts are stamped nuts that feature a thread engaging protrusion in the keyhole of the fastener. This function makes them ideal replacements for washers and threaded nuts, especially in applications that do not require the holding power that a washer or nut might offer. They are easy to install, will not rust onto the mating screw, and do not shake loose from vibration. Huyett offers multiple types of ARaymond single-thread nuts, including speed nuts, stamped nuts, and on-serts.
  • Speed nuts are available in several variations, including anchor type, flat type, and U-nut.
  • On-serts offer the unique function of sliding over a hollow boss to increase the screw’s holding strength.
  • Stamped nuts work well when the screw length is short and could not support a speed nut.
