Driver wrenches, better known as hex keys or allen wrenches, are handheld tools with a hexagonal driver to install and remove hexagonal bolts and socket screws. Hex keys and allen wrenches are the same thing; “Allen” is simply a brand name owned by the Apex™ Tool Group.
- Hex keys come in many different shapes, but the ends are always identical, which means the ends can be used interchangeably
- Huyett offers a variety of long-arm hex keys for additional torque and short-arm hex keys for hard-to-reach fasteners
- Hex keys are available in alloy steel with black oxide finishing for durable edges and corrosion resistance
