Shaft Collars
Machining shaft collars are a common component with many industrial machining applications. Shaft collars are circular clamps that attach around a machining shaft and are held in place via a set screw or clamps. They are incredibly simple to install or remove and can be used to hold other bearings and machine components in place or act as a mechanical stop.We carry a variety of shaft collars including:
- Set shaft collars - the simplest shaft collar, consisting of a solid ring with a set screw
- Single split shaft collars - a circular piece with an opening on one side that can be clamped shut with a single screw
- Double split shaft collars - consists of two semi-circle halves that can be clamped shut independently by tightening the screw on either end
