Blind Rivets

Blind Rivets

Blind rivets, also known as pop rivets, are used when only one side of the application’s mating material is accessible. The rivet’s mandrel protrudes up from the visible side of the mating material, where it is attached to a rivet nut tool. The tool pulls up on the mandrel, which forces the blind side of the rivet to collapse against the mating material. Blind rivets are economic, aesthetically pleasing fasteners that require minimal maintenance after installation.
  • Standard blind rivets, also called open end blind rivets, offer a strong, economic fastening solution that resists vibration for a wide variety of applications
  • Closed-end blind rivets feature a sealed blind end to keep out fluids and debris
