"You can not inspect quality into the product." - W. Edwards Deming

Quality Assurance (QA):

The planned and systematic activities implemented within the quality system that can be demonstrated to provide confidence that a product or service will fulfill requirements for quality.

Quality Control (QC):

The operational techniques and activities used to fulfill requirements for quality.

Note:

"Quality Assurance” and “Quality Control” are often used interchangeably in referring to the actions performed to ensure the quality of a product, service, or process.

Want to find out more about Huyett's Quality Management System? Review our Management System Manual.

Huyett has a rigid Quality Management System (QMS) that defines accountability and responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of quality standards, improved processes, and the effectiveness and efficiency of management. This QMS is applied to all relevant Company activities and identifies operational procedures. Huyett insists that all employees adhere to the QMS, which is facilitated by providing Master Control Plans and Work Instructions specific to each work area. Internal audits are conducted to gauge the effectiveness and employee adherence of these standards. In addition to our own rigorous QMS, Huyett is ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Huyett’s success and culture is based upon customer satisfaction. Our QMS supports this objective through continuous improvement that is then measured and documented to provide evidence of improvement through quality-based processes.
